I regret that your job offer came a day too late. Just yesterday, I accepted a job as a social worker for another hospital. I am really sorry because I was impressed with your institution and probably would have fit in very well.
As I am not at all sure how my new job is going to work out, would you please be kind enough to keep my application on file and contact me if there is another opening in the next few months?
